BridgeCare, the technology-powered student counseling and coaching platform transforming access to emotional wellness and soft skill development, today announced the appointment of Jillian Lorenz as its new Head of Growth & Strategy. Jillian brings over two decades of leadership experience in entrepreneurship, strategy, and wellness innovation. A graduate of Michigan State University, she spent ten years in business consulting before co‑founding The Barre Code, a boutique fitness franchise rooted in empowerment, body positivity, and self‑acceptance. Following the successful sale of her company in 2023, Jillian has focused on executive coaching, venture investing, and speaking on entrepreneurship. She also served as the 2024 Commencement Speaker at Michigan State University and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Business. She is an Entrepreneur‑in‑Residence and advisor at Michigan State University’s Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, and was honored as MSU’s 2018 Spartan Innovator of the Year.

 

In her role at BridgeCare, Jillian will spearhead strategic growth initiatives, drive market expansion, and oversee partnerships that amplify BridgeCare’s impact in scaling student wellness support systems. Her track record of building mission-aligned businesses and her passion for growth by design strongly align with BridgeCare’s vision of reaching hundreds of thousands of students.
