Parent FAQs

What kind of support does BridgeCare provide?
BridgeCare offers student focused coaching and guided tools that support overall wellness, personal growth, and everyday problem solving. Students can use the platform to set goals, reflect on challenges, build healthy habits, and develop important life skills.
Students may also choose to connect with a trained BridgeCare coach for encouragement and guidance with everyday situations such as school stress, friendships, or decision making.
BridgeCare does not replace therapy, counseling, or the important support students receive from families, teachers, and trusted adults. It is designed to complement the support students already have by providing an additional, optional layer of guidance.
Who are the BridgeCare coaches?
At BridgeCare, we carefully select coaches not only for their qualifications but for their ability to connect with students in a genuine and caring way. Each coach completes specialized training in student well-being and is supervised by experienced student counselors on our team. This ensures every student receives thoughtful, high-quality support.
What if my child needs additional support beyond coaching?
BridgeCare coaches encourage students to connect with trusted adults such as parents, teachers, or school counselors whenever additional support may be helpful. Student safety and well being are always the top priority.
If an urgent situation arises while a student is speaking with a BridgeCare coach, coaches are trained in crisis response and follow established protocols to help ensure the student receives appropriate support.
What hours are BridgeCare coaches available?
Most students tend to connect with coaches between 5–9 p.m., though coaches are available every day until 11 p.m. CST for guidance and support.
BridgeCare maintains 24/7 monitoring for urgent situations to help ensure students receive appropriate assistance if an after-hours safety concern arises.
What kinds of things might students talk about with a BridgeCare coach?
Students may connect with a BridgeCare coach for guidance on everyday situations. This can include managing school responsibilities, staying organized with assignments, building confidence, navigating friendships, setting goals, or thinking through decisions.
Coaches may also help students with study habits, motivation, stress management, and planning for future interests such as college or career ideas. Conversations focus on practical skills, encouragement, and helping students build habits that support success in school and daily life.
What kinds of topics do BridgeCare coaches help students with?
Yes. BridgeCare coaches focus on everyday guidance, life skills, and student growth. Their role is to help students with things like goal setting, study habits, motivation, decision making, and managing everyday challenges.
Coaches do not provide medical, legal, or clinical advice, and they do not lead conversations on sensitive personal topics such as political views, religious beliefs, sexual health, or mental health diagnoses.
If a student raises a situation that requires specialized support or professional care, coaches encourage the student to connect with trusted adults such as parents, school staff, or appropriate professionals so the student can receive the right kind of help.
